Family Services and Counseling LLC

The mission of Life Change is to bring preventive and restorative life skills and health solutions to the whole person.  We believe in providing essentials for a healthy mind and body, from the inside/out, using life counseling/coaching, wellness programs and case management  that allow the person to take responsibility for their life and overall health.

Life Change has a core concern for the whole family and the issues they deal with on a daily basis.  We are offering two programs:

Juvenile Delinquency Prevention & Intervention Program

Over the last five years there has been an overwhelming amount of Juveniles entering the criminal justice system.  Life change has developed a Juvenile Diversion program designed to prevent and help with intervention of criminal behavior.  Services focus on the unique needs of each child while providing supportive services to other family members as necessary to help the child succeed.

Youth and families receive referrals to helpful community resources and/or ongoing case management with a goal of decreasing the youth’s risk factors, increasing their protective factors, and helping the family to function better as a whole. Life change’s JDPIP program helps families to meet their unique needs, stabilize crisis situations, redirect youth away from negative influences that led to their bad behavior, and facilitate positive development. The Program is provided within local schools in Harris County.

Professional Case Management and Health Services

Seeks to create “systems of care” for at risk children, youth and their families.  This system of care as we envision it, incorporates a broad array of services and support that is organized into a coordinated network, that integrates health and human services across multiple levels, is culturally and linguistically competent, and builds meaningful partnerships with families and youth at service delivery and management levels.

Families should not have to become experts in human services, educational and enrichment resources to access help for getting stronger, healthier, and more successful.  Bringing diverse service and resources together to support stronger families, youth and communities, and helping families navigate and use these resources in the purpose of our targeted neighborhoods and populations investment strategy.

At Life Change Family Services and Counseling LLC, we have a team dedicated to providing innovative, personalized treatment plans for patients with mental health issues. Counseling and Psychotherapy
Many individuals, couples, and families find counseling to be the best treatment for coping with emotions, life’s challenges and mental illness. We offer counseling to all patients, including those struggling with substance abuse.
We also provide all types of therapy, including everything from cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification therapy, and behavioral treatment plans to art therapy, relaxation therapy, and neuro feedback.

Practice Information
Location & Hours
We are conveniently located in the medical district of 1960 (Cypress Creek) area, near I-45. The office is located on 16903 Red Oak, suite 266. Our office hours are from 9AM to 7PM on most days and on Saturdays from 9AM to 2PM.

Different counselors are available on different days and times. For afterhours access (after 6PM on weekends and any time on the weekends), please call for access to the building.
